"JUANPIERREWOOD"

Good job Doyers....while the rest of the league GETS players,
you start to unload!
WTF
The latest to go is our dear Juan Pierre! This guy was and is awesome, while the BIG BAT had problems with the LITTLE BAT* (viagra lol) Juan Stepped up like no one expected and he helped the Dodgers go on to prove to the world that it was not just one player who made the team but that all were in it to win it! If you ask me Juan Pierre should have been named N.L. MVP he came up big when he was needed and when everyone counted the Dodgers out! J.P. did provide great plays and gave the field level seats a much cooler name than the other dude.

Long live "JUANPIERREWOOD" too bad it is now in the windy city! booooooo!

Thank you J.P. for the great memories and for looking like a 12 year old the whole time!

All jokes aside good luck to you J.P. in Chicago and hope to see you during Spring Training look at the bright side you will still get to play on the same field as the Dodgers (except it'll only be during ST)

Oh yeah and thank you for this awesome shot!!!

This is one of my coolest pictures taken this year, Thank you "JUANPIERREWOOD"

Better late than NEVER!

Hello to you 3 followers Yesi, Larson and L.A. Naca!
LOL

I don't have anything new to post really because well................the stupid Dodgers season is over!
It'll be a few more months before any new images are posted, however the images that i will be posting shortly might not be new to me but they are to you so enjoy!!!

I'm going to be blogging about different players everyday
Today we begin with "Andresito"............Enjoy.

(Andre Ethier shakes hands with Joe Torre in the opening ceremonies where all Dodger players came out of the stands where the fans were sitting!!! totally AWESOME)
After the ceremonies and before the game.......

(In this image Andre and "The Boys in Blue" count down the minutes to game time!)

But wait there's more!!!................

(here we have Mr. Ethier in what would be one of the best , if not THE BEST OPENING DAY EVER! Andre had an amazing game and the Dodgers spanked the hated GIANTS Boooooooooooo! 11-1 woo-whoo!!!. this took place in the clubhouse after the game. NO ONE has this image other than me because i was the only one in the clubhouse with a photo camera, everyone else had video cameras or were just there to interview)

More Andresito..........

(Andre Ethier walks over to the "Cage" to get some time in batting practice)

(Andre has to wait.................)

(and wait!!!!)

Now I know that the Andre pics aren't the greatest, but then again I did with what I had. El Senor Ethier does not like to be photographed and I have to respect his wishes..............so when you see him don't tell him I got some of him while he wasn't looking!!!

Hasta tomorrow have a great Rainy day

"Arriba Los Former Doyers"

A.L. Manager of the YEAR!!!

Mike Scioscia or as my mom would call him "Maik Chocha" has just been named the American League manager of the YEAR!! Congrats Mikey to you and your fans! (me included) It was a tough season yet you guys managed to pull it off and get to the playoffs once again. Oh how sweet it would have been to see the boys in blue take on the Halos this year but I guess we'll just have to wait! Once again CONGRATS Mikey for a job well done!

N.L. Manager of the YEAR!!!

Mr. Jim Tracy has also been named National League Manager of the year (my mom didn't know him so ther is no cool name for him) any who.... Once a Dodgers Skipper so he is always gonna be loved by the Dodger faithful! Congrats to you Mr. Tracy and to the rest of the fans you have!

Now I know that all awards that are given are through a system and votes, BUT this time I'm gonna have to take credit for the awards given to Mr. Tracy and Mr. "Chocha", you might ask why?.......Well it's simple, see this year for some magical reason..........every image i captured of players and NOW managers in the dugouts have turned out to have had an impact one way or another in that game or season!

Thank you for your time and hope you enjoyed this blog!

Good day to all out there in Dodgertown.......... here goes Day 2 of this "blog in progress".

As we continue on this magical journey through my photo album, you will be taken back a few months in what was a great year to be a Dodger fan! This is my 23rd year as a Dodger Fan all thanks to my mother who introduced Dodger Baseball to me when I was only 6 yrs old, this was my best year EVER! I was able to get media credentials through the radio station where I was working at here in Santa Barbara and well the rest is history! I got to do something that I never imagined or even thought would happen; I got to meet the DODGERS!!!

In my last post I tried to start off with a bang but it didn't happen so here I go with more pictures of Opening Day "As I saw it" enjoy and feel free to comment on anything and everything you see here!

"Ahhhh the fresh smell of a new season"

My first EVER Opening Day at Dodger Stadium AND I'M ON THE FIELD!! These were the official Bases used for Opening Day 2009 Dodgers -vs- Giants (booooo) the bases were actually not on display as they are shown above, but Mr. Media Guru (Polo Acencio) was kind enough as to arrange them for a nice photo op! (thanks Polo)

"The Battle Gear"

One of my favorite shots......the helmets! I was like a kid at a candy store, it felt like a dream to be in the same dugout where many greats have been.......well at least some of the greats that have come back to the new dugout.........but that's a story for another blog! Here i stood in front of Helmets! YES Helmets! and I couldn't have been happier,as I sit here and type about the experience I still can't wipe the smile off my face. 26 years later I am in the dugout of my favorite team in the world, nothing could have ruined my moment.........and nothing did. The day continued as it should have as it would of happened in a dream, except this was no dream. It was a childhood wish coming true!

Mr. Martin

Russell J.Martin was one of the nicest players I met that day. He took time to talk to anyone who would ask a question and never thought twice about smiling for the cameras! (Thank You Russell)

"Warm ups"

Manny and the boys in blue warm up before taking on the hated Giants............

Well I hope Day 2 (of blogging) was a bit better and I thank you for taking the time to read and seeing the Dodgers through my eyes!

See you later!

Think Blue!
